Google Fight : Make a fight with googleFight
Google Fight - What a site? I just stumbled on this today. We can have George Bush fight against Bin Laden, Google with Yahoo, Ben Afflech against Jennifer Garner, America against Iraq, India with Pakistan,... And there will be no casualties!! Because the fight here is the number of search results Google gives for each term. Kuch Bhi..
Google Fight provides a simple interface to conduct such fights. It has a good little animation as a splash screen during fights. The site has categorised the fights as The Classics, Funny fights (they think others are serious :-)), Fight of the month and The Last 20 fights. I pitched Linux against Microsoft Windows. Guess what? Yes, Linux was the winner. Way to go.
Hats off to the people of Google Fight for coming up with such a concept. I was surprised to see the number of people using Google Fight. There are really lots of jobless people like me around.
Google Whack is another site similar to Google Fight.

I'm having serious issues with firefox. Gmail is refusing to open, some pics refuse to load (and when I right click and say 'load image', it says image not found). Strangely, when I try to open Raj_Up's blog, it says, and I quote, " / not found".
Which begs the basic question- Other than tabbed browsing, what real utility does firefox have over IE? Extensions like stumbleon are cool (I've used it for about 2 weeks now) and the themes are nice, but they don't really increase productivity or anything. Novelty value, wouldn't you say? Also, my problems might be limited to just me, but IE rarely, if ever, has failed me.
And for the record, I love OpenSource.

Firefox 1.0.4 - the latest version. It is moreorless bugfree. The earlier version had some problems while loading pages with javascript like Gmail etc.
Dude, I am on 1.0.4. Oh well, guess everything can't be perfect.
By the way, you know this is Pi, right?
Hey Pi, I exclusively use Firefox for all browsing purposes. My blog turns up fine in my browser. No idea what the problem is. BTW, tabs rock. 6 - 8 windows open in IE isn't exactly fun.
Tabs do rock. But firefox is giving me way too many issues. And funny thing is it was running absolutely fine until a few days ago. Now even yahoo mail is looking all screwed up. I'm not making this up.
And chandan, ankur's 'consuming' your 'feeds' @'bloglines'. Sounds like a cheesy porn line :)
